The best football fixtures of the coming weekend features the North London Derby, a huge cup clash, and action from Italy and Germany.

Chelsea Women vs Man Utd Women
The fifth round of the Women’s FA Cup has thrown up some tasty matchups this weekend, the biggest of which sees Chelsea host Manchester United at Kingsmeadow on Sunday.
It’s a repeat of last year’s final, which the Blues won 1-0 at Wembley. The Red Devils are out for revenge and sit one point above the west London outfit in the Women’s Super League table. This is also a primer for next month’s League Cup final and promises to be a cracker.
There’s also the Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton later in the day. It kicks off at the same time as the North London Derby in the Premier League, but this game will be on Channel 4, so it’s a perfect alternative if you have a Sky Sports subscription.

Atalanta vs Napoli
The battle for Europe is intensifying in Serie A. Third-placed Napoli are in a strong position to qualify for next year’s UEFA Champions League, but with Juventus just four points adrift in fifth, they cannot afford to drop many points with 13 games to go.
Atalanta, who are five points off the top four, are outsiders to qualify for the competition, but a win here would make a huge statement. Their poor start to the campaign has been firmly put behind them under new manager Raffaele Palladino, who is yet to oversee a league defeat in 2026.
La Dea also cannot afford to drop points at this stage of the season given they are neck and neck with Cesc Fabregas’ Como, who occupy sixth place and the UEFA Conference League qualifying spot.

RB Leipzig vs Borussia Dortmund
The form side in the Bundesliga is not Bayern Munich, but Borussia Dortmund. They are are unbeaten in their last ten league outings, and are currently enjoying a six-game winning streak.
That has brought them within five points of leaders Bayern, who were assumed to be champions-in-waiting yet again, but are cautiously looking over their shoulder at BVB.
Leipzig away is a tricky test for Dortmund, but also one they should be confident of passing if they want to challenge for the title.

Man City vs Newcastle
This is an absolutely huge game for Manchester City, who can at least temporarily close the gap to leaders Arsenal with a win at Eastlands on Saturday.
They will be heavy favourites against Newcastle United, who made the long jaunt to Azerbaijan in midweek. The Magpies will be buoyed by their 6-1 mauling of Qarabag, though, and will be out to prove that they can juggle European and domestic commitments against one of the best sides in the Premier League.

Spurs vs Arsenal
There has not been such a gap in quality between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal in well over two decades, perhaps even longer than that, but this is one of the most intriguing North London derbies in recent memory.
On paper, this should be a cakewalk for the Gunners. Their neighbours are in disarray and sacked their head coach after failing to win a single Premier League game in 2026 so far. But Mikel Arteta’s men are having problems of their own; their title charge is starting to come off the tracks after winning just two of their last seven games.
The total chaos displayed at the back in the lead-up to Wolves’ late equaliser in midweek screamed of a team creaking under the pressure. But the question is: do Spurs have the means to take advantage?
The Lilywhites were dismantled when they went to the Emirates Stadium earlier this season, but they have a new man in the hot seat. The combination of a new manager bounce from Igor Tudor and the desperation to stop their biggest rivals winning the title gives them added hope of getting something from a team on edge.
