It’s safe to say that everything is pretty rosy at Liverpool right now, and Roberto Firmino has been singing the praises of the clubs manager, Jurgen Klopp.
The forward has continued his fine development under the guidance of the German coach, forming one-third of the Reds fearsome front three alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.
While Liverpool may not be playing the blood and thunder football that they did last season, their slightly more patient style of play this time around has delivered full rewards. The Reds currently sit atop the Premier League tree maintaining their unbeaten start to the season with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United at the weekend.
Now, Liverpool number nine Roberto Firmino has been discussing the joy he feels working under the former Borussia Dortmund boss, Jurgen Klopp.
“Playing for him is a really joyful experience,” Firmino told Liverpool’s official website. “I love it, as do the rest of the team.
“We’ve learned so much from him since he arrived and we’ve only got better. He is what you see in public: the passion, the father figure.
“And he’s also got ambition to win titles and give his best and, as players, we can only win with what we learn from him.
“I hope that we can achieve something soon but we are just starting out. There is a lot of football still to play.”
