Plenty of footballers get ink done, but Finland winger Topi Keskinen has quite a unique tattoo that has gained attention ahead of Sunday’s meeting with England.ย
The 21-year-old, who lines out for Scottish Premiership outfit Aberdeen, has an image of Wayne Rooney holding a fishing rod on his forearm – which he designed himself.
Keskinen explained that the Manchester United and Everton legend is a childhood hero of his, and decided to combine him with one of his favourite pastimes in the form of a tattoo.
โMy mum, sheโs an Everton fan and Rooney played there. And then he made a move to Man United and I started watching Man United games,โ he said ahead of the Uefa Nations League encounter.
โHe was like an idol to me. I was watching his highlights in every game that he played in his career, so heโs my favourite player in my life.
โSo I tattooed him with fishing, because I like fishing also. Itโs my two favourite things combined in one tattoo.โ

Finland are yet to pick up a point from their opening three games of the group, but Keskinen believes they will find opportunities to score after watching England lose to Greece on Thursday.
โWeโre going to get some chances in the game. We just have to make some right decisions and be lethal,โ he said.
โOf course they conceded a couple of goals and two goals offside. Of course we can score from them.
โI think weโre going to get some chances because they didnโt defend that well when that came.
โThereโs some quality in that team, so itโs not easy. When we get the chance, we have to do well.
โWe can hurt them and we have the home support. I think itโs going to be a little different game than the first one.
โHopefully we keep the ball more, and if we play against a big country we have to score from the chance. Weโre not going to get them that much, so we have to believe in ourselves.โ
