Fabianski urges West Ham not to dwell on Bournemouth loss

West Ham United’s goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianksi has advised his teammates to refocus after the club were well beaten by Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.

The Hammers have been a bit of a roll of late, but couldn’t follow their victory over Arsenal with another win at the Vitality, losing 2-0 to a Cherries side that had won once in the previous five Premier League fixtures.

Speaking after the game, Fabianksi said the squad need to move on from the disappointing result and stay “mentally” consistent:

“That’s what the Premier League is all about – you have to stay consistent, especially mentally, because it’s a very demanding league,” Fabianski told West Ham’s official website.

“You can’t dwell on things mentally.

“The main thing is to make smart conclusions and work out what we did wrong and what we did well and focus on the things we have to improve.

“There are still lots of games to play and we have to push and get as much as we can from the rest of the season.”
