It’s certainly getting tasty in the FA Cup now, as just eight sides remain.
It was the tie of the round this evening, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United getting back to winning ways against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge – a game which was a repeat of last year’s final.
Paul Pogba got a goal and an assist in West London as United knocked the holders out with a 2-0 win in what was an intriguing encounter.
A rotated Manchester City side unsurprisingly found their way past League Two outfit Newport County with a 4-1 win in Wales, while Wolves edged past Bristol City 1-0 thanks to an Ivan Cavaleiro strike.
Brighton overcame Frank Lampard’s Derby County 2-1 while Crystal Palace did the job against Doncaster. Meanwhile, Millwall and Swansea are now the only non Premier League sides remaining in the competition.
