Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has been charged by the FA following a nasty looking incident in the club’s recent game.
Aguero was caught on camera apparently swinging an elbow towards West Ham defender Winston Reid.
The incident went unpunished and upon review of the referees match report it is clear that it wasnt seen by the officials.
This has enabled the FA to charge the Argentinian striker with violent conduct where the incident will be reviewed by a panel of referees.
Should Aguero be found guilty, it is likely he will be handed a three match ban, which will see him miss the Manchester derby on September 10th at Old Trafford in what will be the first Premier League meeting between Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola. He would also miss games against Xxx and Xxxxx.
