Ruben Amorim is confident that Manchester United can attract top players this summer despite the potential absence of European football.
Manchester United are 14th in the table and set for their worst-ever Premier League campaign. The Red Devils are already guaranteed their lowest points total of the Premier League era and are set for a first bottom half finish in the top flight since 1990.

United can still secure Champions League qualification, provided the club can win the Europa League. Amorim’s side face Athletic Bilbao in the first leg of their semi-final this week.
Manchester United are understood to be pursuing a deal for Wolves midfielder Matheus Cunha. Though Amorim refused to be drawn on specific targets, he said he was confident the club still had the pull to attract top talent.
“Itโs Manchester United. There are a lot of players that want to play for our club,” he said at his pre-Bournemouth press conference.
“If you look at our club in the moment, with all the problems, it looks a little bit of a problem but we have a clear idea and thatโs the easiest part to explain for a player. Itโs Manchester United and every player wants to play for Manchester United.”
Amorim also discussed his current squad and said he has made no concrete decisions ahead of the summer. He insisted all of his players still have the chance to prove they can be a part of the future.
“Everything can happen. Casemiro is the best example.
“He wasnโt playing and then you see in the last games heโs having a part, heโs performing quite well and heโs playing all the time.
“I like to change my mind. If they change my mind I like that. I want to put the best players in my team.”
