Evertons pre-season preparations have been dealt a huge blow after one of their important midfielders has been ruled out of action for six months after suffering a serious knee injury.
Mo Besic was injured during Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United in what was Wayne Rooneys testimonial game.
The 23-year old Bosnian international confirmed the injury via his twitter account.
