Everton join the race for Euro 2016 champion.

Everton have joined a list of Premier League clubs vying for the signature of Portugal midfielder William Carvalho.

The Sporting Lisbon holding midfielder is being linked with Southampton and Leicester City, whilst Arsenal were linked with him last summer.

Ronald Koeman has been left at looking for other options as a potential move for Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel hit the brakes, and has identified Carvalho as an option.

The Sun claim that the 24-year old could be available for £20million, which will not be a problem for any of the clubs in the Premier League.

Leicester want Carvalho to replace N’Golo Kante, whilst Southampton need a replacement for Victor Wanyama, who has completed a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Carvalho completed 120 minutes for Portugal in last nights victorious Euro 2016 final.
