Everton will be hoping to finally kick their season into gear after what has been a disappointing start to Marco Silva’s reign at the club, but will not have an easy time of it against big-spending Premier League newcomers, Fulham.
Much was expected of the Toffees going into this season, as Marco Silva and his attacking brand of football took over from Big Sam’s miserable defensive style.
However, six games into the Premier League campaign and Everton have managed to put just six points on the board, with the 2-0 defeat against Arsenal last weekend the latest of the disappointments.
Blues’ fans will however take heart from the encouraging performance at the Emirates and will hope they can get their second win of the season against newly-promoted Fulham at Goodison Park on Saturday.
Speaking to the media today though, Marco Silva was quick to say that beating the Cottagers won’t be an easy task, as well as giving an update on the fitness of his squad.
