Everton fans beg Southampton to take Allardyce after Pellegrino sacking

After 30 games in charge, and just five League wins, Southampton have sacked Mauricio Pellegrino, leaving Everton fans begging the Saints’ to take ‘Big Sam’ Allardyce off of their hands.

The former England boss is THE anti relegation specialist, becoming the firefighter to extinguish all relegation threatened Premier League blazes, having never been previously relegated in his career.

Having saved Sunderland from the drop in 2016, Allardyce accepted the England job, but was subsequently sacked after just one game in charge following allegations of corruption.

Despite having being sacked by the FA in September 2017, the former Bolton boss was back in work in December 2017 taking over at Crystal Palace, where he ultimately helped achieve a 14th place finish for the Eagles.

He eventually left the club in the summer, supposedly to retire, but ended his self imposed retirement to help Everton, who were flirting with the relegation zone, back in November of this season.

Despite an initial resurgence in results, safety is still not confirmed for the Toffees, whose fans have since grown tired of Allardyce’s tactics and excuses.

However, news of the sacking of Pellegrino from Southampton, who are one place and one point outside the relegation zone, has left Everton fans begging the Saints to take their manager. Here are some excellent replies on twitter:
