Everton face competition in battle to sign former Man Utd winger

New Everton manager Ronald Koeman has targetted former Manchester United winger, Nani, as he looks to freshen up his newly inherited squad at Goodison Park.

The Portuguese winger left Old Trafford last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by Louis van Gaal, moving to Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce.

Everton aren’t the only club looking at the signature of Nani, who has scored two goals for Portugal at Euro 2016. La Liga side Valencia, and Serie A club Inter Milan are all interested in signing the winger, who has a release clause of just £6.5million.

However, Koeman hopes that he can lure the 29-year old back to the Premier League with the offer of big money after recent investment from Billionaire owner Farhad Moshiri
