Everton have entered the race to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi after the player’s loan deal with Valencia was terminated.
Batshuayi has fallen down the pecking order since a £31 million move to Stamford Bridge in 2016. After a disappointing six months in La Liga, the Belgian will be readily available upon his return to West London.
With Chelsea linked with big money moves for Gonzalo Higuain, it would appear the writing is on the wall for their former Marsielle striker.
According to The Telegraph, Everton would be keen on making a move for the Belgium international, who has seven Premier League goals in 32 appearances.
Marco Silva has been reportedly keen on signing a striker for the Toffees since the last transfer window and would view Batshuayi as a useful signing who is available this month.
The Belgian is looking to get his career back on track after loan deals with Borussia Dortmund and Valencia, failed to improve his first team prospects at Chelsea.
