Everton are growing increasingly confident that they will secure a deal for Axel Witsel despite late interest from Liverpool.
The Belgian midfielder has also attracted interest from Chelsea this summer, but according to the Daily Mail, it claims that the Blue half of Merseyside that are closest to securing the 27-year olds signature.
