Everton have agreed a £25million with Swansea City over the signing of Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The Daily Mirror claim that the Toffees have struck a deal with the Swans as they look to bring the Icelandic star to Goodison Park.
Ronald Koeman is believed to have moved quickly to secure a deal for Sigurdsson as interest in the player mounts, from fellow Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton.
Despite Swansea’s struggles this season, which saw them earn Premier League survival with just one game remaining, Sigurdsson has had a fantastic season in South Wales. He has been instrumental in the survival of Swansea City, scoring nine goals and provided 13 assists.
However despite a deal being agreed between the club’s, there still seems like there is some way to go to finalise the transfer. Everton are apparently offering the 27-year-old £80,000-a-week, whilst the player is apparently holding out for £120,000-a-week.
