Full Euro 2024 lineup confirmed as Wales fall at the last hurdle

The Euro 2024 qualification campaign has finally concluded – all 24 nations have booked their plane tickets for Germany this summer. 

The final three spots for the 17th edition of the competition were confirmed this week following the play-offs, which saw Georgia qualify for a major tournament for the first time ever after beating Greece on penalties.

Ukraine came from behind to beat Iceland 2-1 to reach the European Championship for the fourth time in a row.

 

Poland were the last side to confirm their place at next year’s competition by beating Wales in a penalty shootout. Dan James missed the crucial spot kick in Cardiff.

England secured their passage to Euro 2024 as winners of Group C, while Scotland have also qualified. The Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland failed to qualify after disappointing campaigns.
