Euro 2016: Day 13 Round-Up

The Group Stages are finally over and the lineup for the last-16 is confirmed.
Hungary 3-3 Portugal
The highest scoring game of the tournament to date, with all six goals coming in the opening hour. Zoltan Gera opened the scoring on 19minutes before Nani equalised just before half time. The second half started at a frantic pace, with Balazs Dzsudzsak twice giving Hungary the lead but only to be pegged back by Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goals of the tournament. The result leaves Portugal in third place in Group F.

Iceland 2-1 Austria
The tournament minnows secured second place in Group F with a dramatic stoppage time winner. Jon Bodvarsson gave Iceland a first half lead, before Alessandro Schopf equalised on the hour mark. Iceland were set to finish third in the group before Arnon Traustason scored in the 94th minute after a devastating counter attack.

Italy 0-1 Republic of Ireland
Ireland secured their qualification from Group E with a late winner from Robbie Brady. The result didnt affect anything for the Italians who had already won the Group.

Sweden 0-1 Belgium
Zlatan Ibrahimovic brought his international career to an end as Sweden crashed out, finishing bottom of Group E. Radja Nainggolan’s second half goal secured second spot for the Belgians.
