England have released their squad numbers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Thomas Tuchel’s team head to North America in search of a first major tournament success in 60 years this summer.
The German named his squad last month with some surprise selections, and the unveiling of the Three Lions’s squad numbers could hint at who is set to feature prominently.
Harry Kane will captain England and will once again wear the number nine shirt, while Jude Bellingham has been allocated the number ten, ahead of Morgan Rogers (17) and Eberechi Eze (21).
Nico O’Reilly will wear number three and looks likely to begin the tournament at left-back, while Elliot Anderson’s allocation of eight indicates he will partner Declan Rice (4) in central midfield. Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo will wear 16, with Jordan Henderson given the number 14 shirt.
Marcus Rashford has also been assigned a first eleven number (11), ahead of new Barcelona signing Anthony Gordon, as the duo battle for a place in Tuchel’s starting side.
England begin their World Cup campaign against Croatia on Wednesday June 17th.
