It’s one of those transfer saga’s that has seemed to drag on and on, but Emre Can’s future could finally be close to being concluded.

The Liverpool midfielder has less than three months remaining on his contract at Anfield, and has so far refused to agree to a new one. He has been heavily linked with a move to Italian giants Juventus, while there is also interest from newly crowned Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

However, according to Juventus chief Beppe Marotta has revealed that the German’s future could be sorted out within two weeks:

“I am asking myself what the situation is too,” he told Mediaset Premium.

“We want the soap opera to conclude in around 10 days.

“The player is right to evaluate all opportunities, so we’ll wait and see what he wants to do.”
