Unai Emery knows his Arsenal team face a very tough task when they meet Bournemouth on Sunday.
Arsenal are just four points ahead of The Cherries heading into this weekend. Emery said that preparation for this fixture has been his sole focus since their 1-1 draw with Wolves before the international break.
“In terms of Bournemouth, that’s been my focus ever since the end of the Wolves game, I know that we are going to have to play at a very high level in order to get the three points because Bournemouth are doing some great work, they have some fantastic players,’’ Emery told Arsenal’s official website.
”I think that most of all, they have that confidence at the moment which is making them a truly tough proposition.”
Sunday’s fixture is an intriguing match-up of two teams who are both high on confidence at the moment. Bournemouth have only lost once at home this season while Arsenal haven’t lost on the road since defeat to Chelsea back in August.
With 41 goals in Arsenal’s 12 games (3.4 per game) and 37 goals in Bournemouth’s (3.1 per game), there should certainly be some good attacking football and goalmouth action for viewers on Sunday.
