Eden Hazard has added fuel to speculation linking him with a move to Real Madrid.
The Chelsea winger is rumoured to be a potential target for Los Blanco’s who are interested in adding the Belgian to their long history of Galacticos. He has now publicly declared his admiration for the club, claiming they are ‘the best side in the world.’
Speaking to Spanish publication, Marca, Hazard said:
“I think at this moment Real Madrid are the best team in the world.
“They have won everything and have good players and a great coach.
“He has won everything both as a player and as a coach. He’s a special type.”
“Everyone knows about him as a player, when we think of football we think of Zidane because he could do anything on the pitch.
“Even now, off the pitch, he has achieved great things.
“He’s magical and I’m very happy to see him on the touchline.”
Zinedine has previously spoken of his admiration of the player, who also refused to rule out a move to La Liga one day, but also insisted he will stay at Chelsea, for now at least.
“At the moment I’m good in England. Play for one of the best teams, but yes, La Liga is special.
“Why not? Of course for the moment, I’ll stay here.”
