With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Arsenal bound, Borussia Dortmund have turned their attention to the Premier League to find his replacement.

The Daily Mail are reporting that the Bundesliga side have in fact, already agreed a loan deal with Chelsea for 24-year-old striker Michy Batshuayi.

Despite putting in a man of the match performance and bagging two goals during The Blues FA Cup fourth round victory over Newcastle yesterday, the Stamford Bridge club’s manager Antonio Conte clearly does rate the player highly, and it seems he will never have more than a bit-part role at the club while the Italian is in charge.

Dortmund had originally wanted to include Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud in the Aubameyang deal, but the France international turned down the move.

Although Batshuayi has not been given many chances at Chelsea since joining from Marseille in the summer of 2016 for £33 million, he has proven himself to be a good finisher and will be hoping a run of regular games in Germany may help him force his way into Belgium’s squad for the World Cup next summer.
