West Ham United have conformed the signing of striker Lucas Perez from Arsenal.
Perez moved to Arsenal in 2016 having scored 24 goals in 59 appearances for Deportivo La Coruna.
However, he would only be offered 11 Premier League appearances under Arsene Wenger, before he was sent out on loan last summer, rejoining Deportivo for the season.
He now switches North London for East having signed a three-year deal with West Ham, who are thought to have paid around £10 million for his services.
“I’m very happy to be here at such an historic Club,” Perez told the West Ham website.
“I’m very excited, as West Ham are giving me the chance to stay in the Premier League and I’m very happy to be part of this new project.
“West Ham have great fans and play in an amazing stadium, so to sign here brings me great joy. I’m very motivated.”
The 29-year-old joins Ryan Fredericks, Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere, Aindriy Yarmolenko, Fabian Balbuena and Felipe Anderson in moving to London Stadium this summer.
