It may be eight days ago since we brought you out Deadline Day live blog, but Sunderland have completed their tenth signing of the summer.
The Black Cats have completed the much needed signing of a goalkeeper, bringing in Mika from Portuguese club Boavistanon a two-year deal.
A statement on the club website reads:
Mika joins the Black Cats on a permanent deal, having signed a two-year contract at the Stadium of Light. He becomes the tenth new arrival under manager David Moyes.
A technical issue meant that Boavista were unable to complete their requirements by the 11pm deadline on August 31, however FIFA are satisfied that both teams fulfilled their commitments and the transfer has now been approved.
Sunderland were desperate to sign a goalkeeper this summer after Vito Mannone was injured early into the season, leaving youngster Jordan Pickford to deputise.
