Manchester United starlet Andreas Pereira has moved to La Liga side, Valencia on a season long loan.
The deal was completed late on Friday night before the Spanish deadline passed. It is believed the deal includes a €3m loan fee with no option to buy the player.
Pereira spent last season on loan in La Liga, with a year being spent at Girona, and despite the clubs struggles, which ultimately ended in relegation, Pereira came out of the experience in good shape and with plenty of plaudits.
He was given a new squad number (15) for the coming season, and was hoping to be involved in Manchester United’s first team this season. However, this deal will see those plans put on hold for 12 months as he jets back out to Spain on loan once more.
Pereira has made 13 senior appearances for United so far, scoring one goal, with the majority coming in the 2015/16 campaign under Louis van Gaal.
