Sporting Lisbon have confirmed the signing of Joel Campbell from Arsenal on a season long loan.
The winger was involved in neither of Arsenal’s opening two Premier League games of the season and has seemingly slipped down the pecking order at the Emirates.
He shot to prominence with good performances at the 2014 World Cup with Costa Rica as well as on a loan spell with Olympiakos.
He made 30 appearances for the Gunners last season and has now signed for Primiera Liga club Sporting Lisbon on a season long loan.
