Southampton have completed the £12million signing of Bayern Munich midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The 20-year old has left the Bundesliga club after failing to nail down a regular spot at the Allianz Arena, and has chosen to move to Southampton where he can continue his development.
Speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel, Hojbjerg told Saints fans what they could expect of him.
I don’t try to speak about myself but in football I like having the ball and I like fighting on the pitch for my team.
I feel that it’s a team that sticks together in bad and good times because I think that you can only be good if the whole team succeeds. This is what I am as a player, I work hard, I’m serious, I’m reliable, I’m loyal and I like winning. For me, winning is what makes the difference from good players to big players, it’s how much you win and what you want to win.
The Danish international has signed a five-year deal at St Marys.
