Southampton have confirmed that Italian striker Grazianno Pelle has left the club after completing a transfer to Shandong Luneng.
The Chinese Super League club have completed a £13million deal for the 31-year old, who has spent two years at the Saint Mary’s stadium.
The striker has just enjoyed a successful spell with Italy at Euro 2016, and had been linked with a move to be reunited with Ronald Koeman at Everton.
However, he has chosen to move to the mega rich Chinese Super League, where he will be a strike partner to former Newcastle striker Papiss Cisse, who also joined Shandong Luneng last week.
