Manchester City have completed the signing of Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The Chilean goalkeeper moves to the Etihad to work with Pep Guardiola who covets the goalkeeper highly for not only his goalkeeping ability but the quality he has on the ball too.
Bravo said:
It was not easy to leave a club like Barcelona, but the opportunity to work with Pep Guardiola was too good to refuse.
The move, which is worth around £17million, all but certainly relegates England goalkeeper Joe Hart to the confines of the bench in the long term unless he is able to find a club in the remaining six days of the transfer window.
Meanwhile, in Barcelona, Marc-Andre Ter Stegen is expected to take over as the clubs permanent first choice goalkeeper, whilst new signing Jasper Cillesen is likely to be his understudy.
Bravo has signed a four-year deal at he Etihad stadium.
