Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of former midfielder Mario Gotze on a four-year deal.

The midfielder signs from Bayern Munich for a reported €26million, re-joining the club he left in 2013.

Gotze struggled to break into the Bayern Munich starting XI on a consistent basis, and now moves back to the Westfalenstadion this summer.

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur were also linked with playmaker, but he has decided to remain in the Bundesliga.
