Premier League new boys Middlesbrough have announced the £12million signing of Atalanta midfielder Marten de Roon.
The transfer, which is believed a club record, was announced by Boro yesterday.
Speaking via his twitter account, de Roon was delighted with the move:
Really happy with my transfer! Let’s make a good season in the Premier League. Come on The Boro!
The 25-year old becomes the third summer signing for Middlesbrough.
