Barcelona have completed the €25million signing of Euro 2016 star Samuel Umtiti on a five year deal from Ligue 1 club Lyon.
The 22-year old put in some fantastic performances for France at Euro 2016 in the absence of three first choice centre backs as Raphael Varane and Aymeric Laporte missed out through injury, whilst Mamadou Sakho was banned.
However the young defender stepped in excellent style, helping to keep a clean sheet against World Champions Germany on their way to the final.
Umtiti will undergo his medical on Friday morning before an official press conference at the Nou Camp on Friday afternoon. He has a €60million release clause in his Barcelona contract.
