Arsenal have agreed a deal with Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gunners are set to pay £53 million for the Gabon international, and the 28-year-old is expected to travel to London to complete his medical this evening.
Highly respected Sky Sports journalist Guillem Balague revealed the full details of this big money transfer on twitter earlier today.
ALL DONE! @Aubameyang7 will be #AFC player pending medical. Fixed fee of £53m with £2.5m adds on if major trophies won, pass CL group stage (so pays itself). Wages not even half what Alexis wanted. Not the only deal #AFC working on

Aubameyang moved to Dortmund from French side Saint Etienne in 2013. During his time at the Westfalenstadion he has blossomed into one of Europe’s top strikers, notching an impressive 98 goals in just 144 appearances.
The talented attacker is blessed with electric pace and has proved himself to be a clinical finisher, who many believe will be perfectly suited to life in the Premier League. He also speaks fluent English so he should not have any issues fitting in with his new team-mates.
Many Gunners would have been disappointed last week when the club lost Alexis Sanchez to bitter rivals Manchester United. However, having taken Armenian playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of that deal, and with the club now closing out the transfer of superstar striker Aubameyang, maybe this wont be that bad a transfer window for Arsenal fans after all.
