Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of Sevilla striker Kevin Gameiro in a deal worth around £28million.
The deal also sees Luciano Vietto go in the opposite direction on a season long loan, leaving Spanish champions Barcelona having to look elsewhere in their search for a new striker.
The Catalan club had been linked with making a move for Vietto, but will now have to look for alternative options after the clubs agreed to swap their strikers.
Gameiro helped Sevilla to their third consecutive Europa League crown last season, scoring 68 goals in 141 appearances in total for the Andalusian club.
