West Ham got their first points of the season today after Manuel Pellegrini’s side secured an impressive 3-1 victory away to Everton.
The Hammers put in their best performance so far under Pellegrini with summer signing Andriy Yarmolenko marking his full Premier League debut with a superbly taken brace in the first-half.
Everton playmaker Glyfi Sigurdsson would pull one back for the home side on the stroke of half-time, but West Ham talisman man Marko Arnautovic scored his sides third on the hour mark to effectively kill the game.
Former Premier League striker Dion Dublin was full of praise for the Hammers players after the game, claiming that to a man, they were all excellent.
”With all the players West Ham have and their quality, every single of their players in claret and blue has played well today.’’ Dublin said on BBC 5 Live Sport.
”I think West Ham to get out the mess they are in they all have to play well, not just one or two taking a ride on the back of others.”
