Diego Costa is in talks with Fenerbahce ahead of a potential Chelsea departure according to reports.
The BBC claim that the Chelsea striker is speaking to the Turkish club ahead of a potential move which would have to happen today before the transfer window closes. However, despite talks being ongoing, it is thought that a deal is unlikely to happen.
We brought you news of a report yesterday that Costa was also in discussions with fellow Turkish side, Besiktas.
It was also reported that Costa has returned to Chelsea to sort out his future, but the Spain international has once again been pictured in his birth country of Brazil, seemingly refusing to return to England.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo said he was hopeful that the 28-year-old would make the move to the Spanish capital in January:
“We cannot sign anyone until January, hopefully by then Costa and many other will come,”
Cereal was speaking to the media ahead of the club’s new stadium opening at the Wanda Metropolitano, a new 71,000 seater, state of the art arena to the East of Madrid.
