Dewsbury-Hall says he has ‘no intention’ of leaving Leicester

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has said he has ‘no intention’ of leaving Leicester amid speculation surrounding the midfielder’s future.

The 25-year-old has been an integral part of Leicester’s Championship-winning campaign, as the Foxes have bounced back from last season’s relegation to earn promotion back into the Premier League at the first attempt.

Dewsbury-Hall turned down interest from top-flight clubs in January to stay at Leicester and was this week named the club’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the season.

The academy graduate has scored 12 goals and provided 15 assists this season, form which has attracted interest from clubs including Arsenal, Brighton and Fulham.

However, Dewsbury-Hall has shut down any speculation that he could leave the King Power Stadium in the summer transfer window.

“I’ve been at this club since I was eight years old, I have no intention of leaving,” Dewsbury-Hall said after receiving his double award.

“I couldn’t really ask for much more. I set myself goals at the start of the season and the main one was to win the Championship. I’m so, so happy to have had a positive impact on the season and coming away with a bit of silverware. That’s the best feeling in the world.

“It means an awful lot. To be recognised by the players and the fans – the people that are with you every day and the people that watch every game – I’m bursting with pride.”
