Dani Alves has snubbed a move to Manchester City according to reports in France.
The Brazilian full back has been linked with a move to the Etihad, after Champions League finalists Juventus agreed to terminate his contract, allowing him complete a transfer to wherever he desires.
It was widely thought that he would move to Manchester City where he would be re-united with former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola.
However, according to L’equipe, Alves has agreed a deal to join French club Paris Saint-Germain.
The news will be a bitter blow for Pep Guardiola who is desperate to add new full backs to his squad. Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta were both allowed to leave for free at the end of last season, with the latter already since signing for West Ham.
Tottenham defender Kyle Walker has also been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad, although he could cost a hefty £50m!
The addition of Alves would be a major coup for PSG and their bid to reclaim the Ligue 1 title from AS Monaco.
