Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has said he is ‘very committed’ to the club despite ongoing speculation surrounding his future.
Cunha scored the opening goal and created two more as Wolves eased to a 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday. The 25-year-old’s display helped Wolves to a sixth straight Premier League win, with Cunha taking his return to 15 league goals for the campaign.
The Brazilian’s display comes amid the background noise of a potential transfer. Manchester United have held talks with the player’s representatives, with the Red Devils prepared to activate Cunha’s ยฃ62.5m release clause.

Speaking at full-time, Cunha shut down talk of a transfer and said he remains committed to Wolves. The forward outlined his happiness at the club, insisting he ‘loves’ to be at Molineux.
“We are very committed to this club, everyone, and want to show the fans our capacity. We’re starting to get the points we deserve and show everyone our work.
“I always say that I am always happy to play for this team. Sometimes my emotion is too much because I love to be here.”
Cunha also reserved praise for Vitor Pereira, who has had a phenomenal impact at Wolves. In the relegation places at the time of his December arrival, Wolves are now 13th in the table. They have the seventh-best record in the Premier League under Pereira’s management.
“Right now it is easy to talk about him. He came here to help us, this is the most important point. When you show these kind of things on the pitch, he has his hand in it.
“Everyone is very happy to have him and all the coaches around.”
