West Ham United beat Burnley 4-2 with an impressive performance in front of their home fans last Saturday.
Hammers left-back Aaron Cresswell says him and his teammates are now full of confidence and looking forward to their game at Huddersfield on Saturday.
”If we can get the wins and push ourselves further up the table, there’s no reason why we can’t go on a good run,” Cresswell told West Ham’s official website.
“Their results and position in the table might suggest they’re easy to get at, but no game is easy in the Premier League, especially away from home, so we’ll see what happens.”
England international Cresswell feels the main reason they will be confident ahead of facing Huddersfield is due to their dominant first-half display in the Burnley win.
“We will go to Huddersfield with confidence, of course, especially after the first half against Burnley at the weekend with the chances we had, we should have had a penalty with Grady [Diangana being fouled by Steven Defour] and we had chances cleared off the line, we could have been four or five goals up at half-time.”
Cresswell has missed some game time due to injury and will be hoping to reclaim the left-back spot as his own.
“Personally, it’s been a bit stop-start with injuries so it’s nice to be back out there,”
