Coventry City are among three Premier League clubs to enquire about Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk following the resolution of his anti-doping case, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims Frank Lampard’s side have expressed an interest in the Ukraine international, with several clubs exploring the possibility of signing the 25-year-old after he was cleared to resume his career.
Chelsea are understood to be keeping all options open regarding Mudryk’s future, including the possibility of a loan move before the transfer window closes. However, the club’s immediate priority is to assess the winger’s condition after his lengthy absence from competitive football.

Mudryk has travelled to Hong Kong to join Xabi Alonso’s squad for the latest leg of Chelsea’s pre-season tour, where he will be evaluated by the club’s coaching staff before any decision is made over his role this season.
According to the report, another option under consideration is a temporary move to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, Chelsea’s sister club under the BlueCo ownership model, should the Blues decide he would benefit from regular first-team football.
Mudryk has not featured in a competitive match since November 2024 and was only recently cleared to return after reaching a resolution with the Football Association and the World Anti-Doping Agency over his doping case.
While interest in the winger is growing, no decision has been made on his future. Chelsea are expected to assess his fitness and sharpness during pre-season before determining whether he will remain part of Alonso’s plans or spend the campaign elsewhere.
