Diego Costa has relocated his family back to Madrid as he prepares to complete his move back to La Liga according to a report today.
The striker was heavily linked with a return to Atletico Madrid this summer, despite their transfer embargo, but a deal was unable to be done before last months transfer deadline.
He was linked with moves to Everton and AC Milan on loan, before the deadline, while also being linked to Besiktas and Fenerbahce earlier this week, who were still able to sign players due to their extended transfer window.
However, the Turkish window has now since closed, forcing the striker to officially stay at Chelsea until at least January.
However, Costa is determined to force his move through to his former side, and according to The Sun, he has already moved his family back to the Spanish capital.
Costa is yet to return to England after his summer holidays in Brazil, despite being included in Chelsea’s Premier League squad. However, Antonio Conte, who told the striker he was no longer wanted at Stamford Bridge, has excluded the Spain international from his Champions League squad.
Meanwhile the Sunday Express claim that Atletico Madrid have sent officials to London to talk through the details of his likely transfer to the Wanda Metropolitano stadium in January.
