Former Chelsea captain John Terry was pictured returning to his former club’s Cobham training ground today.
The 37-year-old was seen meeting with his former team-mates and the club’s staff.
Terry is currently plying his trade for Aston Villa in the Championship, although there have been many rumours recently suggesting he will return to Stamford Bridge in some capacity this summer.
Speaking ahead of the Blues Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace tomorrow, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte admitted he is always happy to see the centre-back, and that the door is always open for Terry to return to the club he represented for over 20 years.
“For John Chelsea is home and he can come when he wants, the doors are always open for players that wrote the history of this club.
“For me it is always a pleasure to see him and have a chat.” Conte said.
Terry made a whopping 717 appearance for the Blues and is the club’s most decorated player, having captained Chelsea to five Premier League titles.
