Reports have emerged today suggesting that Antonio Conte’s agent is set to meet PSG officials next week in Paris with a view to the Chelsea manager taking over the reigns at the Ligue Un Champions next season.
The 48-year-old is expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer due to his constant bickering with the club’s board about transfer policy, and his sides less than impressive defence of their Premier League crown.
According to reports in the Evening Standard Conte’s agent Federico Pastorello will travel to Paris next Tuesday in order to discuss a deal for his client to take over the managers job at the Parc de Princes from Unai Emery.
PSG have lost patience with Emery after his side were meekly eliminated from the Champions League at the last 16 stage by Real Madrid, despite the club spending mega money on some of the worlds best players in recent seasons.
Conte has also been heavily linked with a return to his previous job as Italian national coach in recent weeks, although this latest report suggests his future will lie in club football and not at international level.
