Former Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore has labelled his former clubs style under manager Steve Bruce as ‘absolute garbage.’
The Villian’s slipped to another disappointing draw last night against Blackburn, with plenty of the clubs fans letting Bruce know just how unhappy they are with the performances his side are currently serving up.
Collymore took to Twitter after the game at Ewood Park to slate Bruce:
“Superb the 5,000 Villans at Ewood. Hope nobody is under any illusion that point was progress,” he wrote.
“Sucking the life weekly from some players. A worrying lack of cohesion.
“There will still be a few saying, ‘He’s a promotion specialist’, but the style and substance is pure garbage.”
Villa currently sit in 12th place in the Championship table having draw four, won two and lost one of their opening seven games this season.
