Chelsea working on Tosin exit before transfer deadline

Chelsea are working on a potential exit for Tosin Adarabioyo.

Chelsea are working on a potential exit for Tosin Adarabioyo before the deadline as the Blues look to reduce their squad size.

The centre-back has fallen out of favour under new head coach Xabi Alonso, and has not been included in either Premier League squad so far this season.

Several sides have expressed interest in the defender, including Premier League clubs. There is also interest in the 28-year-old from Marseille and Benfica. The latter are under the management of Marco Silva, who worked with Adarabioyo at former club Fulham.

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that there is a ‘serious chance’ for the defender to leave in the final hours of the window, with talks ongoing over an exit.

Chelsea are looking to offload several fringe players before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, with Mykhailo Mudryk another expected to leave. Chelsea want to send the Ukraine international out on loan, with Mudryk’s preference to remain in the Premier League.
