Chelsea are interested in making a move for Real Madrid midfielder Isco.
The playmaker has fallen out-of-favour at The Bernabeu following the appointment of Santiago Solari as manager and Maurizio Sarri is targeting a deal to bring the 26-year-old to Stamford Bridge.
Isco has been with Madrid since arriving from Malaga in 2013 and has gone on to win four Champions Leagues and a La Liga title at the club.
After the club’s indifferent start to the season which see’s the European champions sitting sixth in La Liga, Solari replaced Julen Lopetegui as manager and has since endured a difficult relationship with Isco.
Despite boasting a midfield stockpiled with talent, Sarri’s side have been reliant on Eden Hazard for creativity and believe Isco can help address their creative dearth as they bid for Champions League qualification.
