Chelsea have been linked with a big money move for Kylian Mbappe.
Spanish publication Don Balon claim that the Premier League champions could make a big money move for the French superstar should Eden Hazard leave them this summer.
Hazard has previously been linked with Real Madrid, with Zinedine Zidane known to be a huge admirer of the Belgian. However reports this week also suggest that Hazard is on a shortlist of players at Barcelona as a potential replacement for Neymar.
Neymar is in the brink of completing a transfer record shattering £196m move to Paris Saint-Germain, with the player having been given permission by the Catalan club to miss training this morning, as a move edges ever closer.
Hazard, is just one of the potential replacements for Neymar, along with Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho, Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann, and Spurs’ Deli Alli.
The report from Spain claim that if it is to be Hazard who makes the move to the Nou Camp, then Roman Abromovic could be willing to sanction a big money move for Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe has strongly been linked with a £160m move to Real Madrid, while Man City are also rumoured to have a strong interest.
The 18-year-old had a remarkable campaign for Monaco last season, scoring 26 goals as Monaco won the Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years, while also reaching the Champions League semi finals.
However, Hazard is believed to be happy at Stamford Bridge, and is most likely to stay beyond this summer.
