Chelsea are considering making a shock £12million move for Southampton striker Graziano Pelle after he impressed under new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte at Euro 2016.
Reports today suggest that Pelle, 30, could make the short move from the South Coast to the London club if they are unable to lure Alvaro Morata to the club from Real Madrid.
Morata has just recently moved back to his boyhood club Real Madrid, but is thought to be available providing the Europeam Champions make a hefty profit on the striker. Arsenal and Manchester United are also interested in Morata, leaving Chelsea to assess their options.
Pelle is one of those options, having scored 30 goals in two-years at the Saints, as well as two goals for Italy at Euro 2016 under Conte’s management. He has also been linked with a move to Everton where he could reunite with Ronald Koeman.
