Chelsea are interested in signing Como defender Jacobo Ramón as the club continue their rebuild under Xabi Alonso.
The West Londoners have reached an agreement to sign Atalanta right-back Marco Palestra, and are now exploring a second raid on Serie A.
According to The Athletic, Ramon is a contender to add to the club’s centre-back options, while contact has also been made with Crystal Palace over Maxence Lacroix.
Ramon impressed last season as Como finished fourth in Serie A to secure Champions League qualification. The 21-year-old made 37 appearances for Cesc Fabregas’s side, excelling after arriving from Real Madrid for a fee of just €2.5m.
The centre-back is viewed as an ideal profile for Chelsea, given his height (6ft 5in), pace, and potential for further development.
No u-22 centre-back in Serie A managed more aerial duels, sliding tackles, forward passes completed, or passes into the final third than Ramon per 90 in 2025/26.
